Executive Director’s Perspective

Katy brings broad-based public defense experience, having worked in Washington, DC, New York City, and Austin, TX. Her insights from serving as a leader in the nonprofit organization that administers Austin’s appointed-counsel system, in particular, are incredibly helpful as ALIJ continues its efforts to improve Allegheny County’s system.
