Mark Ganley is a service provider for Criminal Justice Act attorneys in the Western
District of Pennsylvania, providing litigation and technical assistance for attorneys in appointed cases. Mr. Ganley has served in this capacity since 2020, first as a sole proprietor, and for the past two years and the managing partner in Commonwealth eDiscovery, LLC. Before entering the private sector, Mark worked for twenty-three years as the computer systems administrator for the Federal Public Defender’s office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In this role, he built and managed the FPD’s networking infrastructure, while providing end user support, and consulting on technical issues with attorneys and investigators in the office. During his time there, he provided support in computer and mobile device forensics, assisted on cases involving cellular technology, and developed data management strategies for discovery intensive cases. He also worked with attorneys and investigators to edit and convert audio and video files for trial, and he provided in court support using trial presentation software.
